This is a new service that we are adding to our armoury. It's not suitable for all applications, nor all furniture, but there are some instances when soda blasting is the perfect solution to stripping old finishes from wood. We are happy to advise whether or not this method of finish removal is suitable or not for whatever project you have in mind. It is really helpful if you can send us photos of your project first for assessment.

Soda as a blast medium works differently to others, it removes the finish by exploding on impact so giving a gentler removal than bead or sand blasting. It is also used dry, so is less likely to warp or split wood fibres. And as it is basically baking soda, is less polluting to the environment. This service is limited by the time that we have available. If you are interested in knowing more, then please e-mail or phone for further information. Below we have two links to YouTube films of items undergoing the process.
